Scope

Built on insight, not assumptions

Our relationship with SEGA began before their relocation, when they asked us to explore ways to improve privacy and focus within their previous office. As hybrid working grew, the lack of enclosed meeting and focus spaces became a real challenge for teams balancing collaboration with calls and confidential discussions.

Rather than commit to a fixed solution, SEGA wanted guidance. They needed a strategy that was modern, flexible and aligned with their distinctive design identity.

We began with a consultative process, working closely with their internal leads to understand spatial constraints, design aspirations and employee feedback.

Designed to be tested in the real world

To help SEGA make confident decisions, we introduced FluidSpace Flex — our rental model that allows organisations to trial products in a live environment. SEGA rented a selection of Hush meeting pods, which we installed in their existing office so teams could experience them day to day.

The trial proved invaluable. Employees tested different pod sizes, ventilation systems and acoustic performance, giving SEGA practical insight into what worked best.

When the move approached, SEGA asked us to relocate the rental pods and procure additional units for their new headquarters, including single occupant pods for focus and larger collaborative pods for hybrid meetings.

Made for a seamless transition

Fluid managed the full logistics of the relocation, coordinating with the wider fit out team to ensure the pods were delivered, installed and commissioned on schedule. Every unit was selected to complement SEGA’s brand and the design language of their new Chiswick Park workspace.

The result is a modern, agile environment that supports a wide range of workstyles — from quick calls to deep focus to collaborative sessions.

This project reflects the value of a flexible, evidence based approach to workplace planning, helping SEGA invest with confidence and create a workspace that will evolve with their people and culture.
